Role Responsibilities:
- To assist in the development and implementation of forestry management plans
- To assist in forestry operations; planning, organising a coordinating forestry activities
- To implement operational plans to achieve business objectives
- To develop and maintain strong client relationships with clients and contractors
- To maintain accurate records and reports, assisting in the preparation of budgets and financial matters
- To work collaboratively with the wider professional team
Skills you will need:
Essential:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent in forestry or a related subject
- A knowledge and understanding of forestry principles and techniques
- Organised, able to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- The ability to work autonomously and collaboratively when required
- Passionate about the sector, eager to embrace training and development
- Excellent IT skills with an understanding of GIS mapping
- Full UK driving licence
