Senior Consultant
The Opportunity: Eager to lead stimulating and engaging consultancy projects, driving energy access and forestry conservation globally? We are searching for a highly experienced and knowledgeable Senior Consultant to join a professional and rapidly growing team. Working from our client's office in London, you will be enthusiastic about international travel while spearheading the development and execution of carbon related projects aimed at mitigating climate change. A seasoned consultant, you will be well versed in project management, and working collaboratively to ensure the best possible outcome for the client is achieved.

Role Responsibilities:
- To manage and deliver emission reduction projects, climate change mitigation and adaptation projects for clients, providing strategic advice and guidance throughout
- To work collaboratively with the wider team on various projects and technical studies focussed on energy access and forestry management and restoration
- To advise clients on carbon finance opportunities
- To instigate and develop new projects to be funded through carbon finance and carbon markets
- To build and develop working relationships both internally and externally to ensure business needs are met
- To identify new business opportunities through actively promoting the business and brand
- To keep abreast on the climate policy and finance developments
Skills you will need:
Essential:
- An extensive track record of 8+ years demonstrating experience in climate change, carbon management, international development or forestry consulting
- 3+ years of consulting experience and producing reports for clients
- BSc or Masters in a technical field related to energy, environmental science, agriculture or forestry
- An excellent communicator, capable of engaging confidently in international territories
- Highly organised with strong analytical, problem solving, and project management skills
- Experienced and confident in producing professional, accurate, and well presented reports
- A confident team player, comfortable with collaborative and autonomous work
- Multilingual, French speaking is a strong advantage
- Dedicated to nurturing and supporting a team, sharing knowledge and experiences
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office package
- A driven and positive approach to work, adaptable in responding to the needs of the business
- The desire and willingness to undertake international travel
Desirable:
- Working experience of geomatics and geospatial analysis
- Prior experience of working in developing countries
- Experience with carbon markets
